let it go,
let it roll right off your shoulder
don't you know
the hardest part is over
let it in,
let your clarity define you
in the end
we will only just remember how it feels
our lives are made
in these small hours
these little wonders,
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away,
but these small hours,
these small hours still remain
let it slide,
let your troubles fall behind you
let it shine
until you feel it all around you
and i don't mind
if it's me you need to turn to
we'll get by,
it's the heart
that really matters in the end
our lives are made
in these small hours
these little wonders,
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away,
but these small hours,
these small hours
still remain
all of my regret
will wash away some how
but i can not forget
the way i feel right now
in these small hours
these little wonders
these twists & turns of fate
*
time falls away but these small hours
these small hours, still remain,
still remain.
...these little wonders still remain
{Rob Thomas ~ Little Wonders.}
The house is a wreck,
my sink is not shiny,
it's 3:13 pm, and yep...
still in my bathrobe.
But man, it was a good day.
The pink eye is clearing up
and we have reveled in a
gloriously lazy day full of
pancakes with too much syrup,
basking in window-sun,
wii tournaments,
and shooting a gratuitous
{and frankly ridiculous}
number of nakey-baby-pics.

I love being a mom because every day is special. Sometimes they are redundant. Sometimes they are annoying. Always they are special!
Nakey baby pictures are GLORIOUS! The baby is so cute. I can barely stand it!
I love being a mom and I never thought that I would love being one. I love rediscovering the joy and wonder of life through the kiddies' eyes. There are wonderful days and not-so-wonderful days, but like Becky said, each day is special. :)
Being a parent myself made me finally truly appreciate my own parents.
Oh, and you can never have too many nakey baby pictures --especially if the baby is as gorgeous as T!
Love being a mom -- most days, it is my proudest title; some days, I wish I could change my name; but all days, I love my kiddos with every fiber of my being. And I agree that you can never have too many nakey-baby pictures :)
my link is to Jessica's amazing coverage of Abram's birth. That was literally my favorite day of all my days. I feel so bad for men that they can never have the incredibly powerful/humbling experience of growing a PERSON & giving them life! I want to do it again & again & again & again & again. but maybe not have that many kids....
the most fulfilling & empowering thing i've ever ever done.
LOVE
Ummm ... ya I LOVE being a mom.. but my post was about what a BAD dad Bjørn is... thus making me a GOOD mom by default..RIGHT?
Just kidding.. my babies are my EVERYTHING..& I try to make sure they know it each & every day of their lives...
Being a mom is the greatest thing I have ever done. These little kiddos are worth everything. After working part time with my first child, I relish all the lazy, successful, fun, entertaining and all around special moments we spend together. I honest love being at home with my little ones, they are my happiness and I just love them to death.
Being a mom is the most rewarding and most difficult job I have ever had! I love the experiences my children bring to me, the love, joy, anxiety, fear, and happiness. I remember a day with one of my good friends{before I had my own kiddos}. She turned to me, while playing with her adorable daughter, and said *it is amazing the amount of joy children can give you!* I try to remember that everyday, and find a time, everyday, to experience it!
